Arranged Records was born as a promotional label in the late ’90. In the beginning was part of an old website that my friend Rafael Mompel and I created, that site was: RareSoundtracks; perhaps the first site dedicated to share CD artwork.
The original idea was to help film music fans to fill their cases with scans of promotional releases, although some of these came with no inserts and then I thought: “why don’t create artwork myself?”, of course a label could give a more realistic appearance and that’s how Arranged Records come to life.
And so my first artworks were made like “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”, “Total Recall”, “Air Force One”, “The Goonies”, etc. Nothing to be proud in terms of quality and beauty…
Years came by and the “Arranged” logo also evolutioned, from the first “A” to the actual treatment, I think finally found it’s identity. The website also moved from several hostings and now has it’s own place and domain.
Finally I want to give special thanks to my family for their support and encourage. Thanks to Christian Osmancevic, Ricardo Garcia, Jeff Johns, Javier Burgos, Roberto Oteo, Magno Vieira, Fred Oudot, Abraham Labarra, and all friends around the world who make Arranged Records possible with their support and collaborations.
Arranged Records nació como marca promocional a finales de los 90. Al principio formaba parte de una vieja web que teníamos con mi amigo Rafael Mompel, la web era: RareSoundtracks; quizás la primera página dedicada a compartir diseño de arte de CDs.
La idea original era ayudar a los aficionados a las bso de completar sus cajas con escaneos de arte de las ediciones promocionales, sin embargo algunas venían sin nada y entonces pensé: “¿por qué no hacerlas yo mismo?”, claro que incluyendo una marca promocional le daría un toque más realista y así es como se dio vida a Arranged Records.
Y así los primeros diseños fueron hechos, como “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”, “Total Recall”, “Air Force One”, “The Goonies”, etc. Nada como para estar orgulloso en cuanto a la belleza y calidad…
Los años pasaron y el logo de “Arranged” fue evolucionando, desde la primera “A” hasta el logo actual, creo que finalmente encontré su identidad. La web también pasó por distintos servidores y ahora tiene el propio y el dominio también.
